This Friday night, Chilean superstar MC (and one of our favourite peoples on this planet) is blessing Toronto for the THIRD time – and believe me when I say each time it just keeps getting better! This time she steps out to the big stage at the beautiful HARBOURFRONT CENTRE.
We recently caught Ana in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, where she opened for none other than Calle 13 in front of 7,000 people!!! Ana Tijoux is the real deal, her fierce lyrics stand in solidarity with student-led protest movements from Chile and beyond. Her back up band is smooth but tight, marching alongside her with precision and swing. Her breakout album ’1977′ made her a star and now with the follow up ‘La Bala’ she’s sure to establish herself as a true-born artist.
