New Traditions: Island Music and Art Festival
For being the first one ever, this year’s New Traditions festival has one serious lineup!
Featuring 12 hours of music, art and food, the New Traditions festival brings some of TO’s best globally inspired and locally nourished artists to Toronto Island for a day of fun in the sun!
Located at the Artscape ground on Gibraltar Point, this multi-stage, multi-arts festival will be a whole day of entertainment for the whole family.
Some programming higlights include: Maria Bonita & The Band with their energizing Forró party sound. Local gypsy heroes the Lemon Bucket Orkestra, who recently made some big noise on a plane. And last but definitely not least, our homegirl Lido Pimienta with her dreamy, electro-pop sounds.
Tickets are only $20 and are available at Pretty Freedom, Sunrise Records (336 Yonge St), and La Palette.
