Chingo Bling first got our attention back when he brought out a big ass billboard out on the streets of Houston with the words ‘They Can’t Deport Us All’. This is going back a few years when dude was also riding around in a taco truck to promote his 2007 album of the same name. This is before there was a taco truck on every street in every town (yes, even in Toronto you can buy a taco off a truck like it’s something special and unique). Needless to say, Chingo is that dude that doesn’t shy from controversy and embraces his Mexican-American culture like none-other.
Few months back we got word that Chingo teamed up with another one of our favourite Texas-based crews Peligrosa and he even made an appearance on the very dope Royal Highness EP that dropped not too long ago!
Now, Chingo just dropped this fresh new EP called ‘Cancun Shawty’ that trips and dips to the sound of trap and even a bit of 3ball and cumbia influences.
