Dos Mundos in Colombia: Part Three
Colombia LOVES electronic music and has a very strong scene and has been exporting amazing electronic artists such as Bomba Estereo, Systema Solar and Pernett.
retroVisor is an audio/visual collective from Bogota who make incredible music and even more mind-blowing visuals.
They’ve performed alongside Nortec Collective (Mexico) and Bajofondo (Argentina) and their work has even been included in Colombia’s official artists portfolio and amongst Rolling Stones top 50 albums from Latin America.

Fans of Colombian breakout group Systema Solar will LOVE this brand new group coming out of Baranquilla.
Stereocuco was started by a group of musicians (featuring the drummer and DJ from Systema) with the idea of mixing traditional Caribbean and Colombian sounds with electronic elements to create a contagious and highly-energetic live show.

Monareta
These guys can be considered veterans of Colombia’s electronic music scene. Started out in 2000, Monareta quickly became one of Colombia’s favourite musical exports – playing SXSW in Austin, TX and NXNE in Toronto, Canada!
Named after they’re favourite bicycle (hence the helmets) these dudes make infectious and funky cumbias for the dancefloor! They’re newest album ‘Fried Speakers’ (released on Nacional Records) is pure fun and fire!
