Dos Mundos Arts: In(visible) Latin American Undocumented Workers in the GTA

“In(visible) Body-Mapped Stories of Latin American Undocumented Workers in the GTA” is an exhibition based on a research project which asked Latin American undocumented workers in the GTA to draw and paint their migration and settlement journey to Canada.

Through the creation of these maps, the workers were able to tell their stories of life without the safety net of citizenship. On display are 20 ‘body maps’ which are beautiful 2-meter high, translucent prints.

Opening Presentation & Research Findings Launch: Tuesday June 26, 2012 @ 5PM, Toronto City Hall, Rotunda on the Ground Floor(100 Queen Street West, Corner of Queen Street W. & Bay Street)
