Dub Connection meets Big Toe Hi Fi THIS FRIDAY!
If you’ve never been to one of the legendary Dub Connection after-hour events in the heart of Kensington Market, you’ve missed out on one of the coolest fetes in the city of Toronto. A few times each summer, the Dub Connection massive – led by dubplate connoisseur K Zar and his crew of toasters – would take over a secret location in Kensington market that would quickly fill up into the early hours with swaying bodies, thick smoke and dub music.
Before you start kicking yourself for being out of the loop – we’ve got some good news! The Dub Connection is coming out of the dark after hours vibes and moving into a regular club night with regular club hours!
This coming Friday, The Dub Connection meets Big Toe Hi Fi. The Big Toe crew claims Scotland as home, and for a few months a year, Toronto is their home. They bring a massive, home made sound system that will rattle the shoelaces off your sneakers. Big Toe Hi Fi crew will be in full effect, featuring MC Dangerman and will be rinsing out tunes alongside the deadly Dub Connection crew.
