I honestly don’t know why this was sitting in my inbox for so long?? Why wasn’t I bumping this on the regular in the office when I make my chair bounce up and down and pretend I have a lowrider!? Because for real – for real – this mix is made for that kind of behavior.
DJ Neber first came up on our radar through the Dos Mundos Radio group on Facebook. We have a lot of homeys who post their tracks in that group and it’s not often that the same unknown dude posts something that gets played on the program. DJ Neber immediately started to blow our minds with his dope mix of cumbia and other tropical vibes with classic hip-hop samples and funky breaks. A quick peek at his soundcloud and I had to reach out to the homey and ask for a mixtape!
And dude was super cool and sent one to me and I straight up slept on it because I was busy trying to build this empire we call Dos Mundos. Sorry Neber! You are cool! We are the assholes. Dude brings the real heat with some exclusive and previously unheard tracks from the Mexican freak underground.
