Juan of the Dead is BACK!
This movie first came to our attention last June, when Juan of the Dead played in Toronto as part of the Toronto After Dark Summer Screening. The story of Juan, a hard working entrepreneur who sees opportunity (and dollars) once Havana’s citizens become part of the flesh-eating, un-dead has become an instant cult-classic for its mix of humour and over-the-top zombie kills.
Funny, bloody and dripping with political subtext, Juan of the Dead is THE zombie movie of the year! If you missed watching it last June, you’re in luck! Juan of the Dead is playing tonight for FREE as part of Harbourfront Centre’s Caribbean Tales Festival.
