Van’s Self Evident Robbed, Drops Track in Protest
We don’t cover the West Coast enough, but the homey Carlos Equis over at FUTUROBEAT always keeps us up to date with what’s going down in B.C.
This week I was shocked to hear about Vancouver based producer Self Evident’s bag being stolen from a gig. He lost his laptop, his serato, his needles and headphones. All those things are material goods with particular monetary values but the most priceless thing lost was all of Self Evident’s tracks and productions.
To date the laptop, a macbook spray painted pink, has not been recovered. Personally, if something like this happened to me the entire world would be dead to me. But not Self Evident. Instead of taking to the internet to spew hatred and anger towards the degenerate cowards that stole his gear, he threw this brand new track online entitled ‘Red’.
So check out the track, download it, share it and above all else show some love to a dude that has been wronged by the universe.
