We Need Your Help! Our Fall Fundraising Drive is Just Around the Corner!
Our home station, CIUT 89.5FM, in Toronto reaches out to the community twice a year to raise money to keep our station on the air. We are a part of a community station and essentially this station represents the city at whole. Personally, we feel that through shows like Dos Mundos Radio we are given the opportunity to represent a community that exists all over the globe.
From Monday, October 15 to Sunday, October 21, CIUT will be sending out a call for support. Dos Mundos Radio will be fundraising on Wednesday, October 17 between 6pm and 8pm EST. We need 20 pledges of $25 or more. After 5 years of doing this program, we know we can hit that goal. Aside from supporting one of the few, progressive Latin Music & Culture programs in Canada (and dare I say it, the world?) you get a load of cool gifts for each level of your pledge (see below). And if you pledge now (before October 15) you get a chance at the Early Bird Prize Draw of a Sony Center for the Performing Arts Prize Pack valued at over $1200!
